PortaPal, one of Canada’s fastest growing portable toilet rental companies, is looking for a General Labourer and Delivery Person. Located in Calgary, PortaPal services the city of Calgary as well as surrounding communities such as High River, Okotoks, Black Diamond, Dewinton and Millarville.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading portable toilets
• Delivering portable toilets
• Cleaning units,
• Assembling, lifting, moving, and offering general assistance.

Job Requirements:

The employee will be required to wear steel-toe work boots and other protective gear. The successful candidate should be able to follow instructions, be physically fit, be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds and work on their feet for most of the shift.

The successful candidate must have his/her own mode of transportation to get themselves to our compound in SE Calgary. They also must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record so that they can operate the company vehicles.

Experience

Ho experience is necessary. However, candidates with experience in the porta potty industry, and a knowledge of small engines and pumps is an asset.

Wages

Wages start at $18 per hour and the person would work at least 20 hours per week. After a 3 month probation period the successful candidate will receive an increase in their hourly wage and a bonus program will be introduced.

There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to advance to a supervisory position, be trained on a wide range of equipment, and move on to other positions as they acquire training and experience.
